SWFC

To mark the festive season, the main gateway to SWFC has been turned into a winter wonderland. The twinkling 'Snow & Blue' illumination at the bottom of SWFC on Century Avenue is a charming snowfield with sparkling trees swaying in the breeze and decorated with blue and white lights. The lights will be turned on every night from 5-11pm until Jan 9. The festive season is being celebrated in other parts of SWFC, too. The various shops and restaurants of SWFC will be marking Christmas in their own way, while the SWFC Observatory will be specially decorated for the coming of the new year. SWFC wishes everyone a merry Christmas and happy new year.

The winning photographs will be shown in Sky Walk 97 until Dec 25. Other prize-winning works will be shown in the SWFC 2/F Convention Area until Jan 4.

As it has done for the last four years, the 2010 Lujiazui Finance Cultural Festival (Dec 4-28) kicked off with a three kilometer foot race in the Lujiazui area. Twenty staff from Mori Building China (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. joined the run. During the festival, 24 impressionist and modernist paintings from masters such as Monet, Picasso, Rodin and Renoir were exhibited in SWFC.

HSBC Tower officially changed its name to Hang Seng Bank Tower ('恒生银行大厦') on November 20 when Hang Seng Bank (China) Limited located its new China headquarters in the building. The signage lighting-up ceremony two days later was attended by Mr. Hiroo Mori, the Chairman, and Mr. Akio Yoshimura, the General Manager of Shanghai Senmao International Real Estate Co., Ltd.
